Yes a digital collage. After all the debates on the SSNW forum you start thinking even more of the possibilites of digital art! I also love trawling the net for interesting images and throwing them in the mix.
I have detlef to thanks for inspiring this weeks 'Sea' theme.

Wonderful composition and imagery. What program did you use?

I used photoshop as always. The blue texture in the background was created by overlaying different coloured brush strokes in PS. The rest is just simple cut and paste stuff. I think I got up to around 15 layers at one stage, which isn't that huge, but bigger than I usualy need.

I love the mix of media here. It has a great pairing of scientific and creative collage. This makes me think of a Griffin and Sabine postcard. Brilliant!

This has a lovely feeling of mystery, adventure and discovery. Have you been to visit the frozen giant squid at the Aquarium (a bit expensive, I know)?
