Don't worry I didn't draw over an old comic cover. Done on PS ;)

Like your style - the background sap green is very pleasing to the eye!

Your inards are pleasing too! It's a jungle there!

Thanks Frank! I forgot to mention this piece is done with my newly purchased caran d'ache crayons with the help of some ink and white arcylic paint. then overlayed on a jungle girl comic in PS.
I've been trying to draw in a way that can't judged if it's technically good (proportion, likeness skill etc) just more of a natural childlike and sometimes abstracted way of drawing.

I really like the wild lines in this! It has a tribal look! Don't you just love those crayons? I recently got some as well, and they add a whole new dimension to the drawing experience. I love the way this came out. I am having a hard time seeing the jungle girl underneath...my screen at work is very tiny and i can't access the larger pic. Anyway...I like what I see:>

If you click on see the enlarged version link then you should be able to make out the jungle comic. The crayons are awesome!!

Is anyone else having trouble commenting on this blog as I've been told that it's been funny. Plus I have noticed a distinct lack of comments recently??
